Congratulations

You have just received your new METAL NFC contact card.  You have decided to take your social and business affairs to the next level.  So now what? What do you have to do now?

 

That's simple, you have to answer one of these two questions.

1. Do you have a social or business digital card?

2. Is this your first experience with a digital contact card?

 

I already have a profile:

If you already have a profile with another digital contact card then you have to follow these simple instructions.

  • Open the app came with your current profile provider.
  • Go to your profile page and open it 
  • Once your profile page is open, you have to now transfer that profile page link to your new metal NFC card.  Somewhere in the app there will be a button called "activate you card" or "activate your plastic thing" or "tap to scan".  Try looking for the 3 hashtags at the top of the page 
  • Once you have found this, you just have to activate our card in the same way you activated your other device.

 

This is my first experience:

 

The first thing you want to do is go to our partners and check out there offerings when it comes to digital contact and business cards.  

The L Card Pro offers the best experience in digital business cards.  This LINK will take you to there website where you can sign up for a free digital business card.  

Hi Hello has the most customized contact card in the app store and the google play store.  If your looking to get social this link is for you. 

Shuffle digital business card has the best of both worlds.  It is a very capable business card but also has many of the most popular social media formats.  Try this link and see if its a good fit for you.

Once you have chosen the best contact card format that fits you best, its time to set up a profile.  All formats are free and they all have upgrades to add features to your experience. Once the profiles are set up and they are to your liking, its now time to transfer your profile to your new metal NFC card.  We have 3 quick how to videos below to walk you through the process.

 How to Install:

The L Card Pro.

  • The first thing you need to do is go to the L Card Pro website and sign up for your free digital business.  
  • Click here for a special sign up discount.
  • Go to the app store or google play store and download the L Card App

                                 

  • Once the app is downloaded on your phone, open it and you will be on the home page.  At the top right you will see "My Cards" , touch that.
  • Now you will see your business card on the screen 
  • Touch the business card and you will go into the "Card Details" page.
  • At the bottom left of the page, you will see "Copy Link".  Touch that
  • You will now see "Card link copied to clipboard"
  • You can close the L Card Pro app on your phone. 
  • Open the NFC Tools App

  • You now have to copy that URL from your clipboard to the NFC Tools app. In order to do that, you have to click on the "Write" button. 

 

 

  • Clicking on the "Write" brings up the screen below where you will see "Add a Record". Touch that.   

 

 

  • This is the screen you will now see.  There are many different types of tags that can be added to your card.  But the one you are interested in is called URL.  Touch that. 

  • This is the screen you will see.  You now want to put that copied URL in your clipboard into the blank space..  

 

  • Put your finger on this space and leave it there until you see that word "Paste" pop up on the screen.  At this point the URL that is copied in your clipboard will now be inserted  

 

  

  • Paste it into the blank space.

 

  • Once the URL is inserted in the space, click OK at the top right of the screen

 

  • VERY IMPORTANT  Sometimes the app will not remove the http:// from the clipboard.  If you check the address you just inserted and it has http:// twice, you have to remove one of them. Below you will see the address in wrong

 

  • In order to remove the second http://, touch the URL and you will go into an edit page 

  • In this picture below, you can see that http:// is in the URL line and it is not supposed to be there.  You have to remove it using the delete key

  • The picture below shows that the http:// has been removed.  By default the app adds http:// you can see that in the line above.

 

  • Once the URL is inserted and you double check it is correct, now is the time to click ok on the top right of the screen

 

 

  • This is now showing the correct URL for your digital business card.  You will notice that there is only one http://

 

  • Now is the time to write the URL on to your new card.
  • You will see "Write" on this screen.  Touch that.

  • This is the screen you should be seeing. You phone is now ready to scan the URL from the app onto your new card via NFC

  • Now tap the card on the back of the phone, in the middle part and you will hear a "Beep".  When everything is done you will see a check mark.

 

  • Test out your new card by touching it either at the top or the middle of an NFC enabled phone.  You will see the address appear at the top of the screen 

 

  • Now you can touch your newly loaded card onto any NFC capable phone and your will see URL of your contact or business card.

Just remember that if you have a problem loading the URL then double check to see if the http:// has been inserted twice in the address.

 

 

  How to Install:

The Hi Hello App

  • The first thing you need to do is go to the Hi Hello website and sign up for your free digital business.  
  • Go to the app store or google play store and download the Hi Hello App

                                 

  • Once the app is downloaded on your phone, open it and you will be on the home page.  
  • On the home page you will see all the cards you have in the Hi Hello library.  
  • Touch the card you want to download on to your new NFC card
  • Now you will see your business card on the screen 
  • On the bottom right you will see a "share" icon. It looks like a paper airplane.
  • Touch that and you will see a new page, in the middle of the page you will see "Send Link".  Touch that.
  • Now you see "Copy" on this page. Touch that.
  • The URL is now copied to your clipboard.
  • You can close the Hi Hello app on your phone. 
  • Open the NFC Tools App.

 

  • You now have to copy that URL from your clipboard to the NFC Tools App.  In order to do that, you have to click on the "Write" button.

  • Test out your card by touching it either at the top or in the middle of an NFC enabled phone.  You will see the address appear at the top of the screen.

  • Once the app is downloaded on your phone, open it and you will see your card.
  • If you swipe up from the bottom of the card, you will see a page which allows you to share the card.
  • In the middle of the page you will see "copy Link". Touch it 
  • Your card URL is now saved to your clipboard
  • You can close the Shuffle Card app on your phone. 
  • Open the NFC  Tools App

 

  • You now have to copy that URL from the clipboard to the NFC Tools App.  In order to do that, you have to click on the "Write" button.

If you have a problem loading the URL just remember to check and see if there is only one http://
